SATELLINE-M3-TR3 is a UHF data transceiver module in a lightweight single PCB structure. It is designed to be integrated into a host device, for instance for transfer of GNSS correction data in a land surveying rover or RTK base station.

SATELLINE-M3-TR3 is equipped with all necessary features; such as 70 MHz tuning range (403...473 MHz) in one hardware, selectable channel width, AES128-bit encryption available for secure transmission and low power consumption. 1W output power in conjunction with a very sensitive receiver are the guarantee of a reliable data connection.

The configuration of the radio module can be made by using the SATEL SL-commands or SATEL Configuration Manager -software.

SATELLINE-M3-TR3 is compatible with widely used SATELLINE-3AS and -EASy radio modems and also with other manufacturers’ radio protocols.

SATELLINE-M3-TR4 is a UHF data transceiver module in a lightweight single PCB structure. It is designed to be integrated into a host device, for instance for transfer of GNSS correction data in a land surveying rover or RTK base station.

It is equipped with all necessary features; such as 70 MHz tuning range (403...473 MHz) in one hardware, selectable channel width and low power consumption. The radio module configuration can be done with the SATEL SL-commands or SATEL Configuration Manager -software. SATELLINE-M3-TR4 is compatible with widely used SATELLINE-3AS and -EASy radio modems and also with other manufacturers’ radio protocols.

SATELLINE-M3-TR4 is a flexible module which makes it a suitable unit for different uses. It is an updated version of M3-TR3 module. It has two modulations more; 8FSK and 16FSK which gives more speed to the radio interface.

SATELLINE-M3-TR4 can be added to existing systems; it is compatible with widely used SATELLINE-3AS and -EASy radio modems and it supports also other manufacturers’ radio protocols (such as Pac-Crest-4FSK, -GMSK, -FST).
The channel bandwidths 12.5 and 25 kHz are software selectable and SATELLINE-M3- TR4 has a wide 70 MHz tuning range. End- users can select the operation frequency within the range of 403...473 MHz.
The module can be manufactured with an option for 128-bit encryption on the air interface to ensure the privacy.

SATELLINE-M3-TR4 OA  
UHF Data Transceiver Module
for traffic application (Dutch KAR)

SATELLINE-M3-TR4 OA is the next generation solution for data communications in traffic applications. It complies with the requirements of the Dutch KAR* (Korte Afstand Radio) specification for Public Transportation data communications.

The SATELLINE-M3-TR4 OA module is designed to be integrated in onboard computers.  It provides a reliable private data communication links to several services. The module is compatible with existing SATELLINE-3AS-OA systems.

The basic applications include traffic light priority requests, the display of real-time information on anticipated arrival times at bus stops, vehicle tracking and communication with the central transportation control computer.

The radio module configuration can be done with the SATEL SL- commands or SATEL Configuration Manager -software.

SATELLINE-M3-TR8 is compatible with widely used SATELLINE-EASy 869 radio modems.
SATELLINE-M3-TR8 is a flexible module which makes it a suitable unit for different uses. It is ready to use on the Pan-European licence free channels with default settings and is allocated for narrowband telemetry, alarm and data transfer applications. Following items in the module can be customized upon request*:

SATELLINE-M3-TR8 can be added to existing systems; it is compatible with widely used SATELLINE-EASy 869 radio modems. The module can be manufactured with an option for 128-bit encryption on the air interface to ensure the privacy. SATELLINE-M3-TR8 is supplied without a housing in PCB format with RF-shielding, facilitating installation in to the customer’s own housing or into a host device.

The SATELLINE-M3 VHF is a small and lightweight radio modem designed for integration into the user’s terminal equipment. The modem and transceiver are enclosed in an aluminum housing. All the applicable radio, EMC and electrical safety requirements are met without any additional casing.

SATELLINE-M3 VHF transceiver modems are compatible with SATELLINE-3AS VHF radio modems operated on the same frequency range.

SATELLINE-M3-TR1 radio transceiver module has been designed to operate on the wide 403...473 MHz frequency range, offering for use the whole 70 MHz tuning range. The M3-TR1 is a flexible product, enabling many user choices for its functioning and construction. It can be supplied without a housing as a small-size module or in an aluminum housing. Customers can also specify the interface connector to be D15 female, 26-pin male strip or 26-pin female socket. The antenna connector can be TNC, SMA, MCX or MMCX. The applicable serial interfaces for M3-TR1are RS-232, RS-422, LVTTL or TTL.

The available operating voltage has an effect on the choice of system components. This has been taken into account when designing SATELLINE-M3-TR1; this model has two operating voltage levels +3 ... +9 VDC and +6 ... +30 VDC. The level can be changed by replacing the PWR module.

To offer the user more flexibility, M3-TR1 is compatible with the widely used SATELLINE-3AS radio modem family and can also be included in systems based on other manufacturers’ protocols. All the channel spacings 12.5, 20 and 25 kHz are software-selectable and thanks to good receiver sensitivity, the output power of 1 W enables a long radio range.
